Director, Ms. Theresa Cooper, is in her twelfth year at Fairbanks.  She teaches general music to grades K-5, directed the Fairbanks Youth Choir and the Fairbanks High School Concert Choir, and directs the high school drama club.  She is a graduate of The University of Dayton where she earned her bachelors degree in Music Education while emphasizing in voice.  She participated in the Pride of Dayton Marching band, playing trumpet and baritone and performed in the collegiate choir.  She received her masters degree in Masters of Music in Music Education and Kodaly certificate from Capital University.  Ms. Cooper is a member of NAfME (National Association for Music Education, formerly OMEA), TRIKE (Tri-City Kodaly Educators)  OAKE (Organization of American Kodaly Educators), ACDA (American Choral Directors Association), and OCDA (Ohio Choral Directors Association). Ms. Cooper resides in Marysville with her twins Gabe and Emma, and their dog, Si.
