FHS Choir Exam

Singing Exam will take place on May 29.

The following will be sung for the exam. Please click the song title to rehearse on your own time.

Les Miserable (duet)
1. Castle On a Cloud (2:40 starts intro)
2. Bring Him Home (4:49 starts intro)

How Can I Keep (trio)
1. Start at  “What tho my joys and comforts die, the Lord my Savior….” finish through “songs in the night”.  (start 1:22. singing part is at 1:33)
2. Last phrase of entire song (last page) “How can I keep…” (4:25)

Please review crescendos, style, and inflection. All musicality elements will be part of the exam.

Spring Concert
Monday, May 13
7:00 P.M. – High School Gymnasium

Performing groups include:
Fifth Grade Band
Sixth Grade Band
Middle School Choir
Junior High Concert Band
High School Concert Choir
High School Concert Band

*Attendance is required for all performers

Warm up times:
MS Choir: 6:30pm in band room
HS Choir: 7:00pm in band room
*after warming up please sit with your family. More details to come during class.

Proper attire for performers is required:
MS Choir – Look nice. No jeans or tennis shoes.  Ladies may wear pants or full-length skirts.
HS Choir – Ladies in all black, pants or long skirts, black shoes. 

This concert is free and open to the public
