Concert Choir-
  • Please wear concert black (as stated in hand book). Black dress pants or black skirts to the knee are appropriate. Dress classy.  The way you dress should not take away from your performance.
  • Please report to choir room to warm at 6:30pm
  • Sit with your family after performing.
  • Please plan on staying to watch your fellow Fairbanks musicians perform.
Extra credit is available. Sign up on the office window for set up/tear down. (2.5 points for each-5 total)

FES Reach Out

Help the FES Music Program!!

Help your student by providing names of family & friends outside of your area.  They will be sent a ONE-TIME mailer so they can order or renew magazines.  They will NOT be put on a mailing list.  Turn in Reach Out booklets with minimum 7 names by Friday, March 1st to win a Ninja Penguin keychain!


FES gets $.40 of every dollar that is put towards a magazine.  
The money raised will go towards classroom xylophones, metallophones, a piano dolly, sheet music for concerts and other classroom supplies.


  1. Fill out the booklet with at least 7 addresses.
  2. Return to school by March 1st
  3. Pick out a Chillin’ Penguin and lanyard
  4. Winning class gets to pick musical activities on their music day!

Columbus A Cappella Fest IV



The Columbus Children’s Choir is proud to present the Fourth Annual Columbus Children’s Choir, in collaboration with the GrooveBarbers. This year we have changed the format to include competition and educational components.

  • Daytime workshops for all interested groups will be held at Capital University. Registration for individuals is $5, Registration for groups of 10 or more is $50. Contact us for more information.
  • Finalists will compete at the live show that evening at Capital University
  • The GrooveBarbers (founding members of Rockapella) will host and judge the competition with their scores counting for half of the total score
  • Audience vote (one vote per ticket) will determine the other half of the total score
  • Special performances by The Columbus Children’s Choir and the Bexley High School Vocal Ensemble
